Business Forum, Chennai organized by SMBConnect in association with Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association (TANSTIA), Freshworks, Amazon Web Services, Social Beat, and Techline Green Pvt. Ltd. concluded on 25^th February 2025. This was the first edition of the SMBConnect’s flagship event series.

The event was packed with participation from more than hundreds of businesses and featured some prominent and promising industry leaders, such as Jessica Jeyakumar, Vivek Loganathan, Barsha Banerjee, CK Mohan, and female entrepreneur Anusha V. The discussions involved enhancing customer and employee experience among small and medium businesses by leveraging modern technology, such as digital marketing and AI capabilities.

The event began with a welcome note from Ambika Yadav, Program Head of SMBConnect. This was followed by a session themed “Unifying Customer and Employee Experiences Powered with AI Capabilities”. Jessica Jeyakumar, a Solution Engineer at Freshworks, was the guest for the session. Next on the agenda was the session by Vivek Loganathan on the importance of leveraging digital marketing for sustainable growth in SMBs. Vivek is the Executive Vice President of Social Beat, a Digital Growth Partner for Brands in India. Barsha Banerjee of Ragily Technologies shared her insights on fueling business growth through effective cash flow management.

President of Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association was also present at the event, he delved into the prospects of Small and Medium Businesses of Tamil Nadu, expressing optimism favored by the positive policy reinforcement and ecosystem build by the government, associations and other stakeholders such as growth facilitators.

The event agenda had a session from female entrepreneur Anusha V, who shared her journey with her brand Narchuvai Foods. Narchuvai Food is preserving the age-old culinary wisdom of Chettinad thus bridging the gap between the past and present.

The event concluded with a networking lunch allowing attendees to engage in interpersonal discussions and build meaningful relationships.

SMBConnect initiated its service to empower small and medium businesses with The Rise in 2003, followed it up with The Rise 2.0. Following the resounding success of The Rise, SMBConnect started its next flagship series, Business Forum to curate an ecosystem for learning, collaboration and innovation. Business Forum plans to host events in Bangalore, Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar in March and April.
