Panneerselvam Madanagopal appointed as the new CEO of MeitY Startup Hub

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) appointed Panneerselvam Madanagopal as the Chief Executive Officer of the MeitY Startup Hub. This strategic move aims to strengthen India’s startup ecosystem by fostering innovation and nurturing entrepreneurial ventures across India. Madanagopal has extensive experience and leadership skills and is poised to drive forward the organization’s goal.

Madanagopal has been involved with consumers and markets for over two decades. He had a thorough understanding of the B2B and B2C marketing techniques and worked with clients like Axis Bank, Titan, HP, Tata Steel, Tata Global Beverages, Unilever and many more. He served as Ex-VP and Chief Innovation Officer at T-Hub, Head of Strategy and Growth at Almond House and Group Business Head at IMRB International. He was also a visiting faculty in the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Pune.

As India wants to achieve its goal of becoming a tech hub, Madanagopal is likely to play a pivotal role in creating a culture of innovation and growth. With his expertise in supporting research and development, driving young innovators and assuring access to necessary resources the MeitY Start-Up hubs’ initiatives will likely get a boost. He is also likely to build a bridge between industry, government initiatives and academia important in shaping Indian future.
