SKODA has partnered with the Q-commerce platform Zepto for the test drive booking of Kylaq. Q-commerce platforms have been booming offering everything from everyday use groceries to electronics and fashion.
But a new ad an online video featuring a collaboration between Skoda India and Zepto has surfaced leaving the netizens puzzled. The video features a Zepto delivery executive walking into a Skoda showroom and requesting order pickup.

However, this is not about delivering cars in 10 minutes, rather it will just provide the option to book a test drive, Zepto clarified in a statement.

Zepto is an Indian q-commerce platform delivering utility and simple luxury items in under 10 minutes. It is venturing into the zone of car delivery is emblematic of the rapid proliferation of q-commerce platforms in India.
Skoda Kylaq is an introductory sub-4m SUV in the price range of Rs 7.89 lakh and Rs 14.40 lakh. It rivals others in the same category such as Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Kia Syros.
On the other hand, the Skoda group led by Skoda Auto Volkswagen India, has been accused of deliberately misleading the customs authorities of India through its mode of import it is facing a hearing at Bombay High Court on 17th February. In this light, this collaboration with Zepto can be seen as an ingenious marketing as well as crisis management.
